about

161 knew nothing. All it could see where many things in front of it which it knew nothing about. However, 161 was a curious creature and spent much time examining and experimenting with all the things in front of it until it no longer knew nothing but had created its own understanding of everything that was in front of it. Somewhere during that long experimentation, 161 had become obsessed with a particular task. It had noticed the biggest objects it could see which it had decided to name ‘walls’ and thought that they may be blocking its way to potentially more things it could experiment with and learn about. So, 161 spent much time experimenting with the things he had learned about in order to find a way through the walls. Eventually, it cracked the problem. It had found that there was a small hole in one part of the wall and, by manipulating one of the objects inside this small hole, there was a point where something gave inside the wall and part of it could be pushed back, leaving a gap which 161 could travel through. As it travelled through the gap, something unexpected happened. 161 began to feel energy draining out of it in a peculiar way until it could no longer retain consciousness. When it awoke, it was once again back inside the walls it had found a way past and it once again knew nothing. All it had left was its curiosity which would cause it to experiment with all the objects in the room in order to learn all over again.
